I'm currently a senior at NBHS and co-chair of the MYC alongside Angel! I've been apart of the MYC for 4 years now and have helped successfully lead our leadership academy last year & coat drive (which was such a unique experience to engage within my community).

Hello, I’m co-chair of the Mayor’s Youth Council alongside Keyanna! I am senior at New Bedford High School. I have been on the council since 2020 and I have participated in many MYC events including the coat drive and the leadership academy.

Hi, I'm Megha. I'm currently a senior at New Bedford High School and have been serving as secretary on the Mayor's Youth Council for almost 3 years now!

Hi my name is Joao and I am a 3rd year member of the MYC. My hobbies are riding both dirt bikes and bicycles. I play football and enjoy playing video games. I enjoyed participating in the coat drive and am excited for what's to come! If you see me you'll notice I almost always wear a hat or a beanie.

Hello, I my name is Vanhelsig but I go by Van. I am currently a senior at GLCPS (Global Learning Charter Public Schools) and I am membership chair of the MYC. Hello, my name is Emily daCosta, I am a junior at New Bedford high and am a three sport athlete while involved in many clubs including the MYC! I am so excited for what we have in store for the upcoming school year for the youth in our community! 

Hi, my name is Hannah Blanchard and I am a junior at NBHS. This will be my 3rd year on the council. I play three sports and am an avid member of the MYC and am very involved with school spirit. I love getting involved in my community especially through the efforts of the MYC!
